Seed Production is a Bill of Materials (BOM) process: it consumes both Item A and Item B and produces Item C — the raw harvested seed. Unlike BOD, a BOM process transforms its inputs into a different output. The Growing Field resource is consumed at 1 ha per season and is attached to this process as a capacity constraint.
