How o9 Works

Chapter 2

The Network

How the building blocks connect into a live supply chain graph — nodes, edges, and the Digital Brain.

  1. 01

    The Starting Items

Item A and Item B are the upstream seed inputs that start the entire supply chain.

  2. 02

    Shipping Items to the Grower

Two parallel BOD lanes move Item A and Item B from the Central Warehouse to the Grower.

  3. 03

    Seed Production

A BOM process at the Grower consumes Item A and Item B to produce Item C.

  4. 04

    Shipping Seeds Back

Item C is transported from the Grower back to the Central Warehouse via a BOD lane.

  5. 05

    Cleaning

Item C is cleaned at the Central Warehouse to produce Item D.

  6. 06

    Calibrating

    Calibrating splits Item D into three co-products: Items E, F, and G.

  7. 07

    Priming

Item F is primed to improve germination, producing Item H.

  8. 08

    Coating

Primed seeds (Item H) receive a polymer coating to produce Item I.

  9. 09

    Packing

Coated seeds (Item I) are packed into saleable units to produce Item J.

  10. 10

    Final Shipment

Item J is dispatched to the customer via a BOD lane, completing the network.
